If your company uses HubSpot, this update is important for you.

HubSpot has announced that the Contact Lists API (v1) will be officially sunset. While the original deadline was set for September 2025, HubSpot has now extended the deadline to 30 April 2026.

That might sound far away, but if this API is part of one or more of your integrations, it’s something you’ll want to review in time.

What is changing?

The Contact Lists API (v1) has been used for years to retrieve and manage contact lists in HubSpot. With this sunset, HubSpot is fully moving toward newer and more secure APIs that better support current platform capabilities.

After 30 April 2026, integrations that still rely on this API may stop working or behave unexpectedly.

What does this mean for your business?

If your integrations depend on HubSpot contact lists, this could affect things like:

  • Syncing contacts to other systems
  • Marketing automation flows
  • Reporting or segmentation processes
  • Data exchange with ERP, eCommerce, or other platforms

In many cases, the impact is not immediately visible, which is exactly why reviewing integrations early is important.

Not sure if this affects you?

You’re not alone. Many companies are unsure which APIs are used behind the scenes, especially when integrations were built some time ago.

That’s where ZangaBee can help.

We can review your current HubSpot integrations, identify whether the Contact Lists API (v1) is being used, and help you move toward a future-proof setup that aligns with HubSpot’s latest standards.
